“Trip Around the World” week comes from something very personal for me.”
When I started coaching in 2016, I set out on a mission – not to copy what “successful” coaches were doing, but to truly understand what actually develops players.
I wanted to find the common denominators across the best football countries in the world.
So I traveled, studied academies, watched how they train young players, how that evolves into the teenage years, and what ultimately produces professionals.
What I saw was clear; a lot of coaching I saw locally was outdated. But more importantly, something deeper was missing.
